Summary: | This article proposes a reeducation program for conduction aphasics with reproductive difficulties. The characteristics of the program are analysis and manipulation of visual stimuli (written words and syllables); suppression of the compensation effect of the spared lexical-semantic system; and progressive increase in length and complexity of phonological and syntactic construction of words and sentences. The aim of this program is to teach patients to control phonemic production. Results of the reeducation of three conduction aphasics are presented. |
