An efficient synthesis of ferrocenyl-containing 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives via oxidative cyclization reaction

A novel series of ferrocenyl-containing 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives has been synthesized via the oxidative cyclization reaction of arylferrocenylhydrazones derivatives in the presence of Chloramine-T. The structures of the compounds have been characterized by IR, 1 H, 13 C NMR, and HRMS techniques.
