Summary: | Pervasive Computing is characterized by continuous interactions among nodes which are dynamic in nature. Interactions can be successful only if the nodes are reliable. This requires the use of efficient trust management schemes. Generally trust calculated based on direct and indirect methodologies do not yield reliable interactions between nodes. Thus in this paper the concept of policies is introduced to enhance the efficiency of calculated trust values. SLA policies, when integrated with trust management schemes guarantee quality of service and increase the satisfaction level of the customers. Additionally, load balancing algorithms are applied between providers to reduce idle time and to facilitate uniform distribution of load. |
