Spinal surgery for degenerative lumbar spine disease: Predictors of outcome

Highlights • Surgeries involving more than three segments are related to SSI, DT and re-operation. • DT during procedure is a predictor of SSI and increase of re-operation rate. • Elderlies were neither more susceptible to SSI, nor to a re-operation.
