Summary:	A case of Bouveret's syndrome which later presented as a jejunal obstruction is reported. Special reference is made to the echographic findings. Bouveret's syndrome has a double-arch-shadow image in the zone of the gallbladder bed on ultrasound examination. So far, this sign has been considered specific for gallstones inside the gallbladder.
