Summary:The physicochemical properties of the Pechora Sea (Barents Sea) shelf oil and its chemical composition are studied. The methods of refractometry, titrimetry, viscometry, rheometry and standard methods for the analysis of oil and petroleum products are used. The density, chemical composition of oil is obtained. The belongings of oil to the heavy resinous naphthenic oils is detected.
