Description
Summary:This article presents an N-path-based Low-Noise mplifier (LNA) in CMOS Bulk 28nm technology, operating in the 76-81GHz millimeter-Wave (mmW) band for FMCW automotive radar applications. The circuit performs a narrow-band bandpass filtering with a quality factor of 14000 around 79GHz, while achieving a power gain of 20dB and a minimum Noise Figure (NF) of 7.2dB in post-layout simulations. The rejection reaches 17dBc at 20MHz from the center frequency. The latter is dynamically reconfigurable in order to cover various target ranges.
