Summary: | Neurocysticercosis is a significant public health issue and is the most common helminthic infection of the central nervous system. Its giant intraparenchymal forms are very rare. We report a case of multiple intraparenchymal neurocysticercosis with a giant cyst in left occipital region which required surgical excision. Remaining active lesions showed good response to antiparasitic treatment with albendazole. |
