Summary: | Previously abstracted from original as item 9403-62-0486. Character and physicochemical interaction in matrix of titanium alloy of Ti--Al--Mo--V system with reinforced boron and silicon carbide fibers with and without coatings are considered after annealing in vacuum. Alloying elements of Ti matrix (aluminium, vanadium, molybdenum) change the character and decrease the growth rate of interaction zone with B and silicon carbide fibers. Barrier coatings on B fiber are necessary to use for rise of thermal stability of Ti alloy/fiber interface. |
