Description
Summary:The air quality in cities has a vital impact in people's health, although perceive contamination level is not quite simple due to the microscopical size of pollutant particles. It can be considered a relation where the wider the thermal amplitude the higher the level of suspended particles smaller than ten micrometers. Unfortunately, there isn't enough information about a possible relation between the contamination and weather variables in Morelia city. In the present writing it's shown a system design for monitoring environmental contaminants and temperature. The measurements of contaminants and temperature will be used to find a covariation. The covariation is going to help for the development of an equation that can predict the level of pollution. The wireless monitoring systems uses different sensors to detect levels of dioxide, ozone, suspended particles, smoke and liquefied petroleum gas. These sensors communicate with the microcontroller by I2C, SPI, and UART. Data is saved on a SD card, and it also can be visualized with a smartphone. The device is remotely connected to the system through the access point mode of the microcontroller. The client uses the Wi-Fi network to reach the html page where data is shown.
