Description
Summary:A systematic approach is used to determine a new technical solution for material plastic deformation making it possible to separate the main and essential research features and to substantiate the solution adopted. Creation of an engineering assemblage is conducted on the basis of using a criterion for constructing metal plastic deformation classification and addition of intensification factors. Thermal effects during friction and impulse deformation are considered in order to select a new direction of research. The influence of a temperature effect under conditions of high speed deformation is established on the basis of metal forming process mechanics and analysis of experimental data. A classification is developed for processes that combine simultaneous force and heat effects through a deforming tool. The problem of determining the temperature effect during impulse deformation is found and confirmed experimentally. A new direction of plastic deformation processes intensification is determined that combines pulsed force action with a thermal effect in a deformable body surface layer. A new method of impulse friction hardening is proposed.
