Summary: | This paper represents an approach for describing the design and implementation data logging and supervisory control for the boiler drum water level control strategy such two element strategies controlled by control methods and all this using LabVIEW software. Where the total block diagram for control strategies of boiler drum level is obtained using the deriving of mathematical modeling for boiler drum and specific assumptions. Also, this paper provides the knowledge about the control methods such as feedback plus feed forward controller and the various PID controller design methods such as Ziegler-Nichol method, Internal Model Control were implemented on boiler drum control system. Comparative study is made on the performance of the control methods according to steady state error, settling time and peak overshoot. In order to achieve stable performance, set point tracking, and disturbance rejection, a PID controller with an Internal Model Control (IMC) basis was implemented for the level control application, and the results are presented in this work. Finally, the LabVIEW program of data logging and supervisory control two element strategy. |
