Summary:This article discusses the concept of trustworthiness as the core of Islamic leadership as well as the crucial elements in trustworthiness in instilling this concept in the present leadership. Trustworthiness can be classified into two which are for Allah and for mankind. There are four elements under the classification for Allah which are Iman, Islam, Ihsan and Taqwa. Meanwhile, under the classification for mankind, there are four elements of trustworthiness. They are just, responsibility, integrity and accountability.
