Summary:	Highlights • inguinal lymph node metastasis as delayed site metastasis is rare in endometrial carcinoma especially in early stage I. • CT-PET imaging shall be incorporated in preoperative staging work up to rule out involvement of pelvic and inguinal lymph nodes. • Treatment is inguinal lymph dissection followed by adjuvant concurrent chemoradiation; however, its impact on overall survival needs further investigation
