Description
Summary:The main objective of this survey is to develop a smart vacuum cleaner that could operate in educational institutions. The robot has two modes of action for the user's convenience: manual and automation. The manual control of the vacuum cleaning robot is very simple. The robot is controlled manually by an Android application via Bluetooth technology on a smart phone. In automation mode, the robot wants to perform all tasks of its own. To develop an efficient autonomous vacuum cleaning robot, some of the parameters are discussed in this survey. The robot needs to identify any obstructions in its path when operating automatically. The robot's biggest challenge is getting up to the high stairs. For this problem, different wheel designs are discussed. Path planning is one of the most important challenges in automation mode. In this survey, the different path planning algorithms are discussed to cover a certain area in a specific time.
